Ángel Iglesias. The designerÁngel Iglesias was born in Zamora in 1952 and starts his career in the music sector but later on he will go further into the design of jewellery to end up in tailoring.
During the first years of its professional life he works as a freelancer designing clothes for different companies, being able to mention for example “la rosa negra”, located in the Isle of Ibiza. At the end of the 70’s he experimented a very significant peak in European fashion. Later on, he will work with the company “I’dormant” where he will, aside from designing and patterning, start to form part of the production chain.
He establishes a new chain in Zamora for the manufacturing and embroidering of garments which will subsequently be finished and distributed in Barcelona.
Some time after that he will work in a well-known Italian company where he will learn the techniques of textile tanning. In 1982 and helped by all the experiences gained during all the previous years, he creates a small textile company dedicated to the design and distribution of women clothing called Dylan, which will later on change for its own name: Ángel Iglesias.
